Hi! I’m Anne Lusher, author and illustrator of The Danger Twins books: Unsprinkled Cupcake, and Danger in the White House. I’ve written three more chapter books, but the twins refuse to sit still long enough for me to finish the artwork. Reading comes more naturally to them than writing. I’m also the illustrator, which means the art takes time, especially when the Twins “suggest” improvements. I’ve also published more than 20 educational handwriting and printing books, plus four books on cursive. I’m self-employed and run my own publishing company, where creativity, caffeine, and chaos meet daily.

UPDATES:
THE “CODE MISCHIEF” INCIDENT. So… funny story. Somewhere along the way, the twins may have clicked one button too many, turned a knob the wrong direction, or whispered questionable code into the website. Now, a few digital gremlins may be roaming around, nothing serious, just a sprinkle of chaos. If something on the site loads oddly, blame the Danger Twins. They promise they didn’t mean it… probably.
WHY THE NEW BOOKS AREN’T DONE YET. Three completed manuscripts are sitting patiently on my desk (or impatiently, if you ask them). The holdup? Artwork. I’m the only illustrator, and unlike the Danger Twins, I can’t be in five places at once. Between designing characters, finalizing scenes, and wrangling mischievous storylines, the art has taken longer than expected but, it’s coming!
